how's that jaw? I had one of 4 of my 25 YO wisdom teeph out on wednesday... Little advice to the youngsters round here; take care of yer teeth now...it's alot harder later...Keep up the good work Matt.
They've always been proud of their specialty diff tools...not surprised they have a line of transmission tools as well...maybe you could mimmick it if you could find a picture of it...don't let the tool be smarter than the mechanic; it's only steel...
I had an OCD-crippled boss that used to keep EVERYTHING and take them to get blasted and plated, have guys sort them out into the bins and use them as stock fittings/fasteners to sell....he was smart like that; and dumb like that. for bolts and things, it is money ahead, but there should be a...
I've forgotten more about stainless than you've learned yet...but yeah, there are some things to do to overcome the built in weakness...oh to be 20 something and know it all all over again:p. inmyjackedupopinion, a good steel grade 8 can't be beat for our applications...do what makes you happy;)

zj80 ff is a no brainer for cost v gains. I set my fj55 up SUA as well.. I want to do it to the 62, too...it was alot less than any of the other FF options, and all toyota.
what were you going to do about the WMS width? were you going to just run 1.5" spacers on the 62 front axle? I find myself wishing I hadn't narrowed my housing to match the 62 front WMS width...
NOT REALLY, UNLESS YOU GUN IT TOO HOT.... at idle, you'll hear the idle speed go up when advancing and down when retarding. the TPS adjustment ca be a ginormous factor for how the engine meters fuel...prolly those foreign injectors tho.,..
IIRC, one of those is where the evap enters the intake from, but I can't remember and the rig is outside where it is dark....I want to say they should be hooked up...the desmogging magic happens later down stream...
