I relocated my MAF to a whole new location with my DIY turbo kit and had no adverse effects. I moved it about a foot forward and towards the passenger side and turned it upside down to make a straighter shot for the wires. Obviously I had to extend the wires to make this location work, but the...
Mine came out a little crooked on first attempt. Used the wits end pucks the on the second go around and it went much smoother. I have a photo somewhere of the mangled control arm :o
My mom is the same way. If there is a steep dropoff *somewhere* nearby, she'll start freaking out. Even if there's a guard rail and you're well under the speed limit. My stepdad and I took her to Moab once and ran a few easyish trails... she got out and walked about half the time. :hillbilly:
I see you got the big boy tundra :hillbilly:
I seriously regret every cruiser I've ever sold and the last one was no exception even though it was twice salvaged with a dead motor. The great thing is you've passed it along to someone else who will carry on the cruiserhead tradition, and...
Full disclosure, I DD a tesla. This is just too funny. She's really out to change hearts and minds, I tell you! You should carry a pack of bumper stickers that say "POWERED BY COAL" to slap onto any fart-sniffing tesla elitists you may come across. :hillbilly: Just please don't do it...
FWIW, I ran my 80 on 265's for a few years through many of the most challenging trails around Colorado and Utah. With some bumps and bruises, I got through some shocking terrain. It can be done, its just ugly :hillbilly:
Haha, that sucker fell out on my 3rd gen 4runner once. I heard the noise as the bolt backed out and fell onto the road and was able to go back and retrieve it. Talk about body roll!
They most certainly DO inspect under the hood whenever I have brought my 80 in. Whether or not that individual technician will know what it's supposed to look like and what might be missing is probably hit or miss, but they have looked under my hood every time. They also call their buddies...
I used to run a lot of the tougher trails around colorado and utah on 265's. More drama but also pretty fun. Definitely a different experience than 35's and locked.
my catch arms were bent and rubbing on themselves causing the tailgate to need to be forced down. Just some yanking and a few whacks to the side with a hammer and they worked better for a while, but I never got them completely straight.
