   So I might have missed something...but you have a diff that looks like that and you still pulled the tranny and tcase? Eliminate the problems you find, as you find them! That diff looks horrible!

   calling all internet diagnostics experts!!

   You can usually hear a bad ujoint but not see or feel it unless it is about to let go. Another possibility is a chipped tooth on the ring gear...DOH.
