    Odd, as Pin_head stated, if there's 120v being used anywhere, there should be a neutral which is not grounded to the chassis (in standard wiring). Maybe they did things differently back then. -Spike

    If you're grounding the chassis, I'd say use the ground wire. If it needed to carry current, you'd want to use the neutral, but in this case it shouldn't. -Spike
