Did you have any luck with the plug? On my Dorman, the provided adapter plugs weren't even close. I eventually gave up and spliced the old plug back onto the new motor. Solder and heat shrink.

The sector gear on mine was wore out. It would pulse when it was rolled up.

The motor in mine had brushes that were completely shot. I used a cheap replacement, but if it goes out again I will use OEM. I bought an OEM regulator from Beno and put that in when I did the runs, but still used the cheap motor. I suggest getting the motor.
