    a440f "klunk" in 4wd high

I'd consider painting the outside of those spacers. The metal on mine rusts and I live in a very low rust area. It looks crappy next to Aisin hub locks.

What did you do on your 70 series today?

Yes I do, installed along with the Dobinson suspension. In my case I'm pretty sure its coming from the rear end. It's in the driveline, not the tcase or driveshaft or apparentlybtye dang pinion flange. I have new wheels and newish tires, balanced and rotated. Out-of-balance drums? Pinion...

Grinding when shifting into 4L or 4H when in Neutral vs Park

Thank you. My ‘98 didn’t have a rear locker, and I never remember the light grinding between low and high. But it was years ago. Neither with the ‘03 I also had.

Turbo advice for 3L camper cabover rig

I'm suspicous about a turbo that was too small killing your 6.5. Because those things commit suicide often regardless of the turbo. I have run many experiments myself with turbo sizing and purposefully fitted a turbo that caused drive pressure to be 4x boost. 60psi drive pressure for 15psi...

My First Land Cruiser - BJ60 "Wabi Sabi"

...OEM connection. Either way it works and tried all variations of lights and ignition/accessories and it works. Same with a test drive. It was so nice to have the full dash back lit. Made it feel *slightly* less like a utilitarian tractor. Hopefully the front prop shaft is finished this week.

    12v socket connection issues

Oh you guys are going to love this one. What’s the first thing you check when an electronic device stops working? You check if the idiot troubleshooting it knows what burned fuse looks like. 👆No it wasn’t you moron.

    I found an Abandoned FJ40

Look on your DMV website and see if you can find a reference to Abandoned Property. In VA it’s an easy process. I printed annd filled out all the required paperwork and brought it with me along with the complete documentation of the process from the DMV’s website. I’ve titled 6 vehicles...

AGP Wheels on a 200 Series (TRD Replicas)

Sure, they fit. But the offset is non-starter in my mind for the compromises it brings. I'd encourage you to look at offset between +30 to +45. Many new to the hobby don't appreciate the importance of good offsets, but the dynamic impacts are severe when going this aggressive.

Grinding when shifting into 4L or 4H when in Neutral vs Park

With the engine off, key in ON position, transfer case in L position, and driver’s window rolled down, you should hear be able to hear the actuator motors for the center & rear diff locks when you actuate the switches. This will let you know the wiring harness & switches & actuators are at least...
