...I've downloaded and saved the 73 diagrams from coolermans site and plan to put them to good use. The cluster is a soon-coming project but have had difficulty removing it from the dash to get a...
Do you know if there is any control panel or switch that powers the cluster lights? I suppose it could be that all my bulbs are shot but not likely..since getting the cluster out of the dash has proven a longer than expected challenge, I am trying to rule any possible cause...
my dome light is...
Trying to figure out why i have no dash lights, (turn indicator, high beam, dash lights, brake indicator or dome light)....none of my interior lights are working so I want to start by learning if the pull light switch controls the dash light brightness or dome light? I tried turning the light...
In the process of mending my hornless horn...both horns tested working fine so started at steering wheel and cleaned the horn buttons...when i press each horn button, this little black box (possible relay?) clicks, but no horn...any suggestions?

As i was working on replacing my wing vent weatherstripping, I noticed in the channels a green color when my entire truck us white...i have a 73 FJ40 but the color seems to match the Emerald Green which looks like it was only available til 72 but not 73...is there a way to determine the orig...
Glad to see the forum back up...I like the new format
I purchased an OEM fuel filter from cruiser corps, 2 to be exact, for my 73FJ w/original F motor and a weber carb...the new fuel filter looks like it has a mounting bracket on it BUT what I believe is the current fuel filter has no such...
Thanks for your feedback ...the truck is 2 weeks new to me and I plan to keep her for quite awhile. I assume i should order from a local parts supplier in case there is install issue and I need to return the material...that being said, should I just order rotors, pads and possibly calipers for...
Attached are some photos, not the best but hopefully enough that you recognize something...your help is appreciated. the thought crossed to just swap out everything for a new set from man a fre or equivalent but dont really want to spend the $$ when all i really need is pads...
I need to change pads, possibly rotors as well, on my 73 FJ40. This truck evidently was originally equipped with 4-wheel drums but the fronts were converted to disc somewhere along the way...is there anyway to identify what is on there so I can find replacement parts?
The truck wont pass...
