    Overheating/slow heat issue

    It does seem to cool down some, or at least the needle bounces around some, going up and down erratically for some time, eventually staying in the upper area of the gauge. I've never driven it long enough to see if it actually overheats. I'm reading more now, and I'm going to flush the system...

    Thanks a ton, saved me a lot of time and money. Thanks for the tip on the washers as well. I had Ozark Imports look over the 80 and they said it was the banjo bolt, but it probably is just crush washers causing the problem. I'll start there and see how it goes.

    I'm cruising the site today and thought I'd give a quick update on the 80. I've had it for over 5 months and it's doing great. I have a slight brake fluid leak at the rear banjo bolt, where the line attaches to the caliper. I just posted a thread looking for that bolt, as I can't find one...

    I'm getting desperate, so I thought I'd try here. I've scoured the internet and can't find one anywhere, can't even find a part number after looking at every parts diagram I can find. I have a leak at the banjo bolt and need it and the crush washers. Any local leads would be greatly appreciated.

    I have noticed a pretty significant coolant leak the last few mornings, and it doesn't seem to leak after the car is warm. It has green coolant, I'll probably just top it off until I have a chance to see what's up in the next few weeks. It seems it could be the rad itself, O rings or coming...

    Yes it is. I'm leaving most of the stickers, figured it's kinda part of the cars life history at this point. I removed one sticker, and I'm pretty sure most of the stickers came from the prior prior owner.
