This was a mockup. Avalanche frame, 5.3 lm7, automatic. Not shown are a set of aam axles 10.5 rear and 9.25 front. I have 37 bfg at's for the street and need to find maybe a 42 for offroading.
Restos suck. They aren't fun to build and they aren't fun to drive. Even if the engine is fun then usually the brakes and suspension suck or vice versa. Messed around with 510's for a while and they had good suspension but the engine was a complete turd. Modify it and burn the tires off.
Anyone want this thing? 99 4runner, 3.4 with 200k on it, auto, electric locker. Runs good, has less sheetmetal then the picture. Value is in the drivetrain. $1000
Did you check the upper and lower outlets? Where there is one paper towel there could be 2! I'd pull both sides of the upper and lower hoses and go fishing in both directions.
2004 4runner SR5 200k miles with 3rd row $4500 salvage title.
My kid went and bought a new vehicle rather than doing the maintenance on this one. Here's the deal: 4.0 v6 has a slow head gasket leak. Needs to be fixed but runs and drives just fine for the moment. No mixing of fluids but it is...
He was in the Legends Class. I don't think they got a ton of coverage. They followed the new bronco teams like a hawk though. The fastest big sponsor teams go at an insane pace and then the rest of the pack tend to really bunch up and break down.
When we finally caught up with my buddy getting...
The Hammers were freaking nuts! Ate so much dust! 60,000 people and a sea of rv's. My buddy finished 75th in the Legends Class. Finally rolled it in Chocolate Thunder at around mile 125 and eventually timed out. Busted a hydraulic ram fitting and fixed it but then was having fuel delivery...
Heading to Hammertown tomorrow. My buddy will be in the Legends Class, #54. I will probably be in the remote pit for him with some other friends. This is his rig if anyone sees it. I believe we are camped near the start /finish line too. Any tips for a first timer are appreciated.
Really? Why Florida? My parents lived on the gulf coast for 10 years, you literally can't go outside from June til Sept and they were on the beach too! Then there was the hurricanes... Inland?? well there was never any appeal to going inland...
Shoot, that's not a bad deal for the buy it now price. Probably tack on $800 in fees but that would make a great wheeler. Can't get excited over a 3.4 with an auto but it's still a good looking truck. Someone needs to buy it!
Yes they definitely did offer temp permits. You are gonna want to assume it has a wet seat! Sometimes they tape the windows and sometimes they don't. I'd have some concern about the security system really killing the battery with those windows busted. Not sure if there is a primary and secondary...
