    LX470 AHC issues - pressure sensor 1998 Vs. 2002

Yea, thanks to help from @suprarx7nut we went thru everything possible to remedy a 62 code, fluid pressure malfunction. I finally replaced the couple O rings inside the pump and it came alive holding pressure again.

    HELP Fan Bracket Came Apart

I had same thing happen to me in Bucees parking lot. But that was on me due to using the closest cheap part I could find at the moment. Make sure to replace with Aisin brand bracket.

Should I consider a 100 Series for a Kid Hauler?

Pretty much totally disagree. The 100 series is more likely to get a pile of kids from point A to B to Z than anything else…onroad as well as normal offroad traversing. Atrocious gas mileage depends on what you’re comparing to. If your are OK being a prisoner to the pavement, not being able to...

    100 cruiser worth it?

I think that price is high based on the issues you mentioned. I would expect the asking price to be around $6000-6500....THEN my game would be to really use those uncertain issues to negotiate to closer to $5000.....if the gut agrees. I suggest before you get in your vehicle to go see this LC...

Should I consider a 100 Series for a Kid Hauler?

Hauled around four kids in a couple 80 series’ and 100 series’. Totaled one hundy with all four kids safe and sound. Well beyond satisfied with safety, comfort, reliability, onroad/offroad versatility and low cost of ownership in all eight hundys I’ve owned. Never had a 2hundy to compare.

    Lost all my coolant

Not according to my first post in thread below asking Patch this quesiton. People have been using metal Ts for awhile but I've never seen or heard of one that is exactly the size of OEM plastic Ts that do not require a tighter clamp.....Which is why I asked him. "almost identical in...

But you will need to replace OEM clamps with worm clamps if you go with the metal option.

    Washboard vibration

There is a fairly common "washboard vibration" transmission issue with some of the '04 LXs. It has been identified as being in a certain slot of VINs. May need to do a search for that and check your VIN.

Drain and Fill Brake Fluid Reservoir, Fruitless or Genius? LC100

I ask because I have never ever bled or changed brake fluid in any of my LC/LXs and never had any braking issues that I know of. Short of all four systems failing by sundown, I wonder if it has anything to do with never having any ABS/master cylinder failures. Prolly just lucky Lexii.

    2007 LX470 — Dreaded PO420 code

I have used the spark plug non fouler hack and it has worked very well at keeping p0420 code nonexistent. Lights may come on twice per year. https://www.autozone.com/ignition-tune-up-and-routine-maintenance/spark-plug-non-fouler/p/dorman-spark-plug-non-fouler-42002/720789_0_0

How important is it to pre-baseline? Looking at buying an '03 LC100

Although there really are much more important issues in our lives these days to contemplate, I will say my “issue” with this thread topic and thinking is not… a hundy owner being well aware and wanting to spend serious coinage on baselining clean fluids, buying expensive mods, being religious...
