FWIW, we just purchased two yellow top batteries for power to our surveillance systems in our bait cars and both were bad right off the shelf. Not a good thing for being the first time we used them.
OK, somebody out there has to have something close to this. I'm told it's a 1981, 2F 528558. Does that look about right, I couldn't find anything close in the post or on the SOR site.
Too bad you're not in the Northeast, I have a 2002 4.3 Vortec with 18,000 miles. ECM and harness included to the first $1,000. I need to make room in the garage for my project.
I'm looking for a 1979 2F engine in NJ or surrounding area. Shoot me an e-mail if you have one or know of someone in the area. Thanks, Stan

I have a new Kayline Soft Top that came with my 74 FJ40. Never installed. I believe that some of the hardware is missing though as I only have the bows. It has the clear windows, not tinted. Top is new condition. NO DOORS. Hardware available from Specialty Top Company which bought out...
What is the stock shackle length (BETWEEN PIN HOLES) for front and rear on 74 fj40? I suspect the PO put longer ones on to compensate for sagging springs. These things have to be at least 5 inches.
