SWAMBO-She Who Must Always Be Obeyed
After a lot of patience and a pocketfull of pennys's i'm finally done...for now... So i put together this compilation to show those planning upgrades. Don't be scared...
Kirk,
What is the distance from the centre of your front axle to the underside of fender flare ?
What is the 6" spring. Is this a 850 J range?
The cruiser is drooping in the front a bit. I think it measdured 1" lower than stock. So i assumed this was due to the V8. If the added weight difference of the Bull bar and Motor is insignificant, would the sag be caused form Age?
So then the 850/863 combo woulod probably be the right...
After looking at some info on thread "members lifts" i've got some idea of which combination i will go for.
What are your ideas, comments, expescially if you have added weight as i do with the V8.
Vehicle is 1997 GX.
Chev V8 up front
Mcc Bull bar up front, similar to ARB
Rear, plan to fit...
My cruiser is fitted with a 350 V8 and just recently added a MCC bull bar. Even before adding the bar the 80 appeared to be drooping a bit in the front. Is there anywhere i can get the factory specs on actual clearence, and where is this measured. Is it from the centre of the axle to the bottom...
Kavik,
The pictures really show the difference. It looks great with a lift.
I'm thinking of doing a lift myself and would appreciate some guidence here from the fundi's out there.
I've looked at a Man a fre lift kit which seems to be a good choice as it brings everything back to factory...
