    Speaker options

Since my original post i ended up installing a 6 1/2 two way bass mid range in the the original 6x9 grill and replacing the tweeter. I used the original grill and modified it to fit the 6x9 grill. I just disconnected the middle speaker. I didnt want to install a three way 6x9 because the...

    Speaker options

The driver on my drivers door finally gave up the ghost and i am hoping to do a mild upgrade on the speakers. I have non-nav no ML system. After pulling the door panel off the lower driver looks to be a 6x9 2 channel speaker. The mid looks to be a 3 1/4 with the tweeter at the top. I want to...

    Front end noise

I just saw this post after taking the drives side wheel off. I re-tightened everything again and noticed the UCA nut had worked loose. Torqued everything down and we'll see what happens tomorrow. If it still does it I will check the tie rod ends. The bushings still look good. I was thinking...

    TJM 2.5" Lift Information

FWIW, I installed the same kit with the HD springs in the back and I am running 295/70/17. I had to so some mods to get the fronts to not rub but it works well now. Also, TJM must have addressed the front strut bushing issue as mine had rubber bushings and are holding up fine.

    Front end noise

Its not a squeak, its more of a clanking noise. Only when turning right and hitting a bump at the same time. Drivers side.

    Jealous:(

To each their own I guess....in Central America people tend to like smaller rigs due to higher fuel costs. Thats why there are still a million trackers and samurais still around down here. I have always preferred 2 doors to four doors.

    Jealous:(

Im here in Costa Rica and i always see a ton of diesel cruisers. Typically i run across lots of 80 series and 70 series. I have always wanted a 70 series until i ran across this today.....2 door Prado with a diesel. How many years do i have wait to import one of these guys:(

    Compatibility question

I see you removed the fenders which is what I want to do. Other than body mount chop and fender remove what else did you have to do to get them to fit? I plan on new UCAs as well. I hope my rig looks half as good as yours when I'm done!!
