Just looking at your second photo I could tell that was Las Vegas. (before I looked at your handle/stats) After growing up there, I was happy to get out. Now, my address is in Oregon.
That's what I've seen too. That's why I'm surprised to see photos of people driving all the way down to the water and stumps. I'll have to search it out!
I didn't. I kept them for a couple of years. They just took up space and collected dust. (who would want them?) So out they went. It was relief actually.
I did this. But, being a rookie, the flaws are obvious. It's an experiment anyway. If I like it long-term, I'll have it done by a pro when I get the front end re-painted.
(it's a matte black vinyl)
I'm really happy with the way this thing has turned out. It's great having a mini "kitchen" in the back wherever I'm at. I'm still making small adjustments, but it's mostly finished.
It might have a superior four-wheel-drive system, but ice is a b***h! It remained frozen to the ground all last weekend until this crap passed on through.
I didn't remove any of the interior panels. My molding was cracked and in two separate parts but still firmly adhered to the glass. I used a block of wood and gently tapped the molding off the forward end of the glass. Then I glued the new one in place. You might use some mild heat (hair dryer)...
