Yep, not a problem on packaging those items up. Was it the entire fuel tank cover you're referencing, or just the small shield for over the filler neck into the fuel tank?
I do have a passenger apron from a '76, but it's a bit tweaked...however very salvageable. I'll throw it in for free, if...
LS sitting pretty. I have the battery and intake piping temporarily mocked up for the sake if getting to hear it run. I plan on reconfiguring much of everything when I can have all of the pieces in place. I've had some wins and losses with figuring out the right exhaust manifolds. I'll detail...
I don't have much for pics regarding progress, but I wanted to update my build...if for any reason... to let others know this is not another looong project that got sold off or something. If you're in the trenches with your build, you're not alone. Despite the frustrations and feelings of...
BASICALLY everything has been claimed so far, pending finalizing shipping/ payment. I'll update again when I have things sorted.
I have lots of FJ40 body and hardtop parts. Most if which I believe to be from the same vehicle. I'm unsure of the year, but I would guess early 70's based on a few...

I have a brake question buried in this post....thanks for taking the time to take a look!
It's been a long time for an update. I have been moving forward with this '69 and actually have it at a guy's shop to get the wiring completed on the LS and to possibly tidy up some other items. I don't...
I rebuilt all of mine on a rig that sat for 30 years. I had never done it before, and it was a bit of messy work, so it took me awhile. Work to cost ratio = buy new. If you have the time and enjoy the work, do a rebuild. It's pretty simple.
Bump....I'd really like to get my hands on a mustard yellow front passenger side fender. If there's one out there, let me know and we can make a deal. Thanks.
I say go for it. Mindset is everything...if you expect it to be tough and challenging, then it will go easier than you expect. Besides, you can't duplicate an experience like this for your nephew.
