Friends 100 Series possibly for sale

Nice! Definitely worth the 1k you paid for it. Since the 3fe is toast, I would swap it. And I wouldn't swap it for another 3fe, especially if you don't need this up and driving asap.

It all comes down to what you want and what you do. The 80 will always be the better wheeler, easier to repair and in my experience more reliable.

    First sample logo

Little late to the show here, But I want my 02 cents out there. 1. Battle Born is VERY busy with the terrain inside the lettering, additionally the "riveted" look is tacky to me. 2. I'm not a fan of the brown for the color of the 40. Its dull, my eyes keep being drawn to brightest thing which...

    Back. For Good. The reintroduction....

It was 99% single track. Upper clear creak(6.1m) to lower clear creek (7.6m). So we were not on the rim trail ever, but our starting point had access to it.

Yes and Yes! I was in Reno in July and did a shuttle ride, starting on the rim, just south of 50, down to a school in Carson. Was 14 miles of downhill if I remember correctly. It was awesome, and pretty new I think! (maybe just the upper section was new)

Thanks Mark! I have a masters of science in prosthetics and orthotics now, and that doesn't come with a doctor tittle. Truthfully the field is too small, and hasn't been able to lobby for the designation. But This will probably change in the next ten years.

Inexperienced noob about to tear my FZJ80 apart - Any tips to re-emphasize before rebuilding axles, brakes, steering, and suspension?

My 02 cents.... I almost always hit bolts that haven't moved in a while a day before I work on them with penetrating lube. This simple step can save you time. For the front end, setting the pre-load on the wheel bearing can be confusing the first time. Also removing the cone washers can give...

Gary, do you have the black bj60 off of college? If that is your truck, I lived around the corner from you, we have talked before. and If that is your truck, yeah take it down to the metal and slap better liner on it. Who Owns Tan Bed-lined 40 series??

Here is my 80 covered in white bedliner. I chose monstaliner becasue I saw other people have good success with it. It was cheap compared to a new paint job. All said and done was around $350. At the time I was going to UNR and had little money so it was a great option for me as I knew the 80 was...
