Trails may not be very accessible near Texas Creek. Cotopaxi reported 20" of snow, and most areas from Canon City, west were 12+. How does that play into your decision making for tomorrow?
I think Tracy's schedule looks good. I don't mind leading the San Juan trip in Sept (of course much depends on if any crazy weather comes up and I'm not able to take off which has happened in the past).
Ok...so I'll be down there tomorrow and Jeff will be joining on Thursday. I plan on setting up camp tomorrow when I get down there. So who all am I expecting this week at some point: Jeff, Chad, Josh, Jeremy...anybody else?
Sorry to hear that Tracy! Maybe next year. I think Jeff and I will be leaving about 7 AM from Pueblo to drive on out on Tuesday. That would put us down there around 3 PM or so. Golden Horn is where we'll be staying, a dispersed camping area with a pit toilet. Not sure what side we'll be on...
I don't believe it has been posted or has been talked about (maybe at the Jan meeting?). I know I've led the effort in the past, but its been very hard to get away from work this past year. Really hoping to make it out to meetings and runs this year!
Won't be able to make the meeting this month. Baring any objections from the doc, I'd like to be more participate this year...its been rough the past couple years with COVID, etc. Maybe next month...
I was really hoping to get out there for at least one weekend, but I'm working day shifts the first 3 weekends, and then evenings the 4th weekend. Work has really gotten in the way of things this year...
I wasn't able to get my time off this year for this trip. Very bummed about it. I know Chad Johnston wants to meet up again this year and do some wheeling. I'll let him know people are heading down. If I can swing it, I may try and make it down for a day or two...
