UPDATE
A slipped timing belt was the issue. Right cam was several teeth behind the left. New tension spring is on the way. This is a part that I never thought of regularly replacing but after 35 years it must have gotten too weak
My 1988 V6 Pickup has been running rough for a bit now. I had assumed a burned exhaust valve somewhere, but a compression test suggests something else. Cylinders 2-4-6 are reading about 155 (2), 165 (4), and 170 (6) psi, but the 1-3-5 side are all almost exactly 112psi. Would this be a head...
I did a 5 speed swap about 10 years ago now and the master cylinder I put in (Aisin as well) failed about a year ago. It had those symptoms plus started to leak into the cabin eventually, so I knew it was the master and not the slave. Have you tried bleeding at the slave to make sure there isn't...
Seems strange both calipers would seize at once unless pressure in the master was building up. Sounds like a full brake system inspection/repair is in order especially if the brake light has been on for awhile (parking brake indicator and low brake fluid level is the same light). Oooo looks like...

Make sure all of the wires coming off of the positive battery terminal are not loose, broken and/or overly corroded. I have done some unnecessary starter work before when it was just a problem with a loose wire at the battery terminal.
I did an H55 swap into my '89 FJ62 about 10 years ago now. A couple of weeks ago my clutch cylinder failed. I ordered a new Toyota part, and out of ignorance, laziness, or most likely both I randomly ordered one for an '85 FJ-60 since I had to give a year. It turns out my truck is set up for an...
