Finally got my cruiser to run again, i think.
Let me start by saying that this was definitely Chris and Eric's fault. :) They probably do not remember because it began a long time ago.
For the last three years I have been having fuel delivery problems. The 40 would starve out anytime fuel...
last kid at home will graduate in 1 month, then she is off to KU. That means no more musicals during daylight savings run and no more school junk during SMORR.
My cruising and USPSA shooting time should open up a ton.
I finally had time to work on the 40. Ever since rolling it at Moab I have had fuel delivery issues. I thot crap in the tank might have dislodged in the roll so I pulled the tank. It was beutiful in side - looked new. So I put it back in and replumbed all new lines figuring one of hte steel...
This shows what a cruiser loser I am. I have been out of the cruiser loop for so long I did not even know a 100 series steering gear mod was. Now I know.
I really need to go cruising more.............
thanks for the thoughts, I will look around. I should have said she is ok. She only scraped the frost off of half her windshield and then drove towards the rising sun, Said she did not even hit the brakes becasue she did not see it. The 3/4 ton work van was full of stuff and she pushed it...
My daughter hit a parked van. The impact was just outside the frame rail and the TJM bumper folded like a napkin. The impact snapped the steering shaft. I need a new steering gear so I can get it mobile again.
Well, if we don't have any members selling winches does anyone have a favorite TLCA Assoc member they like to buy from?
I have been out of the cruiser parts market for a long time.

Oh yeah, all in fun:)
It sounds corny buy you guys factor into some great moab memories......you smoking the bicyclists with diesel exhaust, getting passed by a bicycle, troys finger in the birf etc... us old guys need to get together again (meaning me because I have missed to many...
I have the 23rd of June written down for Tuttle and Sept 12-14 for SMORR.
The annual meeting and Daylite savings run always seem to conflict with events at home. One more year of a kid at home and then no more school activities.
High end OE brake rotors are composite produced and have a thin metal face where they slide over the studs. They cost a little more but the trade off is you do not have to worry about replacing the studs.

Hijack...
Met with ccasteel today. Great deal and great guy.
When I did 35's and my spring over I left me caster at factory, approximately zero on mine. New bushing, tie rod ends, and tight steering box and it drives like a lumber wagon, just like I expected.
