Finishing a front axle service that took longer than expected and apparently something was drawing from the battery (car alarm?) and caused it to be dead. Go to jump the batt and the fricking alarm goes off (midnight!). Question is where would this thing be tied in so I can disengage or disable...

When you take the block, head, crank, and cam to the machine shop, will they have access to the spec measurements and so forth or should the FSM be provided for them? Also, would there be anything else that should be specified when it comes to machineing a 2f motor? Thanks...
Am curious about the benifits/drawbacks to using the longfield birfs on my axle rebuild and my 60 being on road more than off? Any driving characteristics changes? Prolonged life compared to regular birfs? Any info is appreciated :)
