I have a set of stock front springs off a 1993 FZJ 80. The 80 had roughly 190,000 when removed. Slight surface rust on bottom coils. Easily painted over or sanded and repainted. $50 for the pair and will ship on you dime. Shipping from Kansas City, MO, 64157.
I just replaced mine on a 1993 with 193xxx on the ticker. It took all of about 2-3 hours start to finish reset EFI started and no codes. I payed $63 for both sensors through amazon so I couldnt justify spending 3X or 4X for OEM.
I am having an issue with my rear drivers side brake. I noticed after a few short trips the braked smelled really hot. I just change pads about 10.000 miles ago. I took the rotor off and noticed a ring on the inside of the caliper where the ebrake appeared to be rubbing. Nothing was stuck...
So I picked up a wheel from a 96 with the shank style lugnuts. My question is will it work for a SPARE on a 93 with the acorn style lugs? This will be just for a spare. If it wont work where is the best place to find 6 shank style lugnuts? Thanks
I just left her house with $40 OEM wheel and spare tire!! Yeah I finally have a spare! The truck is a little rough but I still think you would be fine buying it whole and parting it out. If you decide to do that send me a pm. Im local and I need a switch for a CDL.
Sorry I did not see this post I just posted the link in the for sale section. You must have been the guy she talked to. She knew what I meant when I asked her about the diff locks. I think I am meeting her tonight to buy the spare wheel and tire :p!! Hope your good with that.

Ok since I got no responses, I went with the BFH tactic. Bigger F***ing Hammer. I heated it up and beat the s**t out of it. Now back to replaceing the pads.
First off sorry no pictures! Like always my 1 hour job ran into a problem. I was trying to change rear brake pads. While removing the caliper the lower 17mm bolt broke off. It broke behind the threads so it is just the shaft of the bolt that is seized inside of the caliper housing. I...
I just replaced both motors in the rear doors this weekend. The entire motor and lifter come out as a whole unit. You will then have to unscrew 3 screws that hold the motor to the lifter. I went with the reman motors from Advanced auto and both are working great.
It was Friday night in Kansas City at the Power an Light district. I know I have seen the rig on here before. I think it was stolen at one time. It was a white 80 with ARB. snorkel, big lift and the Cummins motor stickers on the side. The tags where KS tags. Is the owner still a member?? It...
The same thing happened to me last week. I pulled the door panel and removed the window motor and the riser. I then unhooked and took the motor apart. The inside of the motor was filthy. I cleaned the motor out, plugged it back in and it worked. It was actually stronger than before...
How many :banana:job is to rebuild and replace? How many hours of a job would that typically take. I would buy a new system but for the $$ I would rather rebuild I just want to get a idea of how hard of a job it would be. I have read the FAQ's on both rebuild and replace. Thanks for advice!
I understand where he is coming from as well. It was definitely transmission fluid. I did not drive the rig and let it completely drain until I refilled with oil.
That is what I thought. I have heard people adding a quart of tranny fluid into the engine to clean it but just didnt want to cause any damage. So what do you guys think about who is at fault.
