Thanks for the info - my VX LC been running the Teyes CC3 unit for a while - my biggest gripes are touch sensitivity on the screen (might be a setting somewhere to improve that) and the climate control, so the link to the open source stack is great.
I've noticed a Google maps issue with the...
Following as I have a slightly different issue ... 2005 UK spec LC100VX 1HD-FTE, Teyes CC3 installed. All speakers work, no hum, hiss or other noise issues thank goodness. Aircon works, steering wheel controls work, DAB works, Spotify, Google maps etc all good. Very happy but for one niggle -...
Completed my Teyes CC3 install into a RHD UK 100 VX 1HD-FTE with loads of help from @cryptyk and @wildsmith - thanks guys. I'll try write it up and add pics for anyone interested. All working bar CD player (haven't tried tape deck) but not terribly fussed. Great to have a decent screen now...
Thanks for the Teyes CC3 info, been attempting that today and got totally confused with the wiring….. too many wires and plugs, not enough sockets 😆. When you inserted the SIM card, did you use the holder on the fly lead or the one in the bottom of the head unit? Don’t want to get this wrong...
Waiting for my Teyes CC3 to arrive any day now. It’s going in a UK spec 1HD-FTE VX, will report back. I know that the factory reverse camera is an issue - it’s 6 volts not 12, so have got a little in-line transformer to try sort that out…

So I’ve spent ALL my pocket money for this year and next now….
New everything from spindle dust-cap back to knuckle, only part being reused are the lock nuts as they are fine. So much wrong in there it was scary.
Now just tying to source the inner bearings at a reasonable cost, and awaiting...
Same issue here. Replaced the gel pad under the sensor and no joy. PO had replaced the windscreen with an aftermarket one and the idiots super-glued the sensor frame on and left residue everywhere so it’s ruined things. Glued the sensor frame on with proper rear view mirror mount glue and...
Disclaimer - I did search, I promise….
So my new to me 2005 100 series VX Amazon 1HD-FTE has been pinged for bad brakes, so I’ve been buying bits to replace all 4 rotors and have the calipers remanufactured. So far, so good, I’ve replaced the rears without too much of a fight, including new...
