Headlight wire harness FJ60 and FJ62

One of the reasons I quit building them was I was only making about $15 an hour when all was said and done, and the price for materials kept going up (copper). I would have to bump up the price to at least $350 to make it worthwhile, and I don't think very many guys would cough up that kind of...

Headlight wire harness FJ60 and FJ62

For a few years there, I built and shipped hundreds of headlight harnesses and Aux relay boxes to nearly every state as well as Australia, Canada and Europe. So, I don't remember anything specific for Boulder, and I apologize, but I am rocking a new computer since I retired from harness...

Power Windows and Door Locks--Permanent Fix!

Before you buy anymore parts, you need to disconnect the window motor and rig some connections to a battery. I use a small motorcycle battery for this kind of thing, but you need to connect the motor across a 12 volt battery, and then reverse the connections. You don't have to leave it...

Headlight wire harness FJ60 and FJ62

The only way you could do that is to tap into the 16 ga blue wire from the harness (the male harness plug) that plugs into the vehicle headlight plug. You could connect that to one of the aux relays (if the wire pair from the aux relay has a red band) skinny relay control wire. This would turn...

Headlight wire harness FJ60 and FJ62

To anyone that has an unfulfilled order that they have paid for, you will get your harness or aux panel. I have about 7 to build, so it will take me a couple of weeks.

Headlight wire harness FJ60 and FJ62

You were the last one. I thought things would slow down but they never did. Some guy on ebay started selling Aux Panels for Jeepers which took some pressure off of me, but the headlight harness business hasn't slowed down at all. Building these has been fun and I have met a lot of great...

    Auxiliary fuse/relay panel

Well, after 7 years and nearly 1000 Headlight Harnesses and Aux Panels, I've decided to cease production. I saved out enough parts to take care of any warrantee issues, so if you purchased one of my Headlight Harnesses or Aux Panels, I will continue to take care of you, but I won't be building...

Power Windows and Door Locks--Permanent Fix!

Assuming the relays have a standard automotive relay terminal configuration, that should work. Give Waytek a phone call before you order them just to verify.

Power Windows and Door Locks--Permanent Fix!

The power door locks and power windows fix is for everything but the drivers door window. As far as I know, this is still the best solution. If your problem is the drivers door window, see this thread: FJ62 Drivers Power Window (AutoDown) Relay Fix

Headlight wire harness FJ60 and FJ62

If your query regards the Hella ECE H1 high beam only headlights them possibly. If they come with the white hard plastic boot, then you will need to follow my directions. The other possibility is a grey boot, and you will use jumper wires if your headlights are like that. You won't use any...

Headlight wire harness FJ60 and FJ62

Mr. Stern knows headlights, not so much the Landcruiser headlight circuits. Does your Japanese rig use 24 volt headlights? If so, do you have a wiring diagram? I'll also answer your PM.

LED Headlights for FJ60 and FJ62 Landcruisers

The harness I build for LED headlights will work with stock sealed beam or H4 halogen as well as LED. I can't speak to anything else.

LED Headlights for FJ60 and FJ62 Landcruisers

I'm not sure what brand headlights were plug and play for you guys. In order to work right out of the box, they would have to be non-polarized (doesn't matter how you connect + or -). The stock FJ60 harness is the reverse polarity for what an LED headlight would need. So, if yours worked...

LED Headlights for FJ60 and FJ62 Landcruisers

I've been getting this question more frequently as the cost of LED headlights has come down out of the stratosphere. They are now just a little more expensive than the best Halogen headlights, and so there is a lot more interest in them. Before you whip out your credit card, there are a couple...

Power Windows and Door Locks--Permanent Fix!

I agree with you. Old wiring and old connectors drop voltage between the battery and the lock solenoids. Running new wires would most likely improve the situation. I would use at least 14 gauge. You might also take a good look at the connectors in the doors for both the door locks and the...
