I pretty much never drive my cruiser at night, but recently have been more and more. I noticed that with the headlights on that after 10-15 minutes of driving the battery will stop charging. if i turn them off it will start charging again. Any ideas of what to check would be great!

There is a Toyota Diesel shop here in Mobile that works on the diesel fork lifts. when i talked to them a few months back, they felt pretty good about doing an work on my 1H if it needed to be done... don't see why they could not work on a 1HZ...
i asked the guy at the machine shop what he thought, if the spacers were the issue. he said that on one stud maybe, but the other poped because of tension on them. although i torqued them down to specs for the spacers or a wheel the 28 yo steel could not handle the stress. the new lugs should be...
Oswald is rolling again! Took 2 hours today to get everything apart, swapped and reinstalled. glad that is over with. now just to find him a new home...

Well I know i have been afk for a while, just to much going on at home. I just finally got to figure out what happened to Oswald several months ago...
turns out i came up with a great way to remove the wheel from the truck without taking off the lug nuts....
Well atleast this is better...
well it took me a while to get back here and back to work on Oswald (yes he is still at my office), and i think i may have figured out some of the issue...
it is a little hard to make the rear wheels move when you break all 6 studs on one wheel...
ok, htf do i get the rear FF axles out? i guess i need to get my BFH and some penitrating oil on it... cause i sure as hell can't figure out why the will not pull out...
Initially the noise went away... or i assumed it went away under the noise of the H Diesel.
I had to revise my statement, as i was incorrect... or broke something worse while having to move from one spot to another (stupid building owner) I'll post more tomorrow, as i hope to tear into in as...
