Unless you don't like money, the truck will reach its maximum potential on Bringatrailer, which has a much larger audience than carsandbids. No brainer man. That being said, I think we can all appreciate that you offered it here first. I love this community.
The GX460 is the ONLY brand-new car/truck I'd ever consider buying. it might the last body-on-frame, NA V8, solid rear-axle SUV ever sold, aside from it's Land Cruiser brother which costs nearly double.
I was just in the market for a 470/460 and ended w/ the latter. Without going into specifics I enjoyed the way the 460 drove 10x better. It felt more like a Land Cruiser, which the 470 did not. You can't go wrong obviously
Drive both and see what you like, bottom line. I own both and would certainly never say "the LX is better than the GX....". No way. They both feel over-built and badass, along with excelling in different subjective categories.
That's priced about 3-5k less than any GX in my region. I'd jump on it. I recently bought a 1-owner 13' with 110k miles for 21k. I paid market value, but PO had done rotors and pads all around, secondary air pump, tires, drivetrain fluids, and brake fluid this year. Plus, every single service...
My wife drove a 5th 4Runner and a GX460. She called the 4Runner "fine" and fell in love with the GX immediately. For reference, she's been driving our 100-series for about 125k miles. As great as the 4Runner might be, it does NOT feel like a LC, but the GX certainly does...... my2cents
My 99 LX rack is finally on its way out at 226k miles. The bushings are toast and its leaking at a pretty good pace. I ordered a new rack from McGeorge toyota as well as some suspension refresh components.
Can anybody recommend an individual who does quality side-work or indy-shop in Raleigh...
Please reach out if you're considering selling a lower mileage 2010-2013 GX460. Any color as long as the interior is NOT tan! Also, no rust belt trucks, with all due respect! Located in NC but will travel.
Thanks homies!

Adjusted the torsion bars down 1". Measurements are now 23" from center-hub to fender out back, and 22" up front. Steering is 75% better. A good alignment should seal the deal. Thanks for the help homies!
Very good, though I don't want the truck to have too much rake, looks funky. Where would you suggest I get the torsion bars adjusted properly then aligned? Not many specialty 4-wheel shops near me. Thanks!
I'd like your expert opinions on why two tire shops were unable to align my 99' LX post 2" Ironman lift install. The steering is now ultra-vague, about an inch of play from side-to-side, like driving a 50s Buick. I'll be replacing front-end bushings soon, which I've heard helps steering feel...
