Hello everyone... I have a ZZ4 motor in my FJ40 currently and have blown a piston/ring/cylinder in it and it runs now on 7 cylinders. :-) Great!!! Anyway, I am tasked with either pulling the engine and fixing it and putting it back or swapping for a newer Vortec style engine or LS1/LS2...

I can't believe I'm actually doing this but, unfortunately the time has come for me to give up “The Beast”. The economy hasn’t worked out for me and my wife is due with our first child in April. She calls the FJ...
I have a set of 35x12.5 15 BFG Mud Terrains for sale on my 1972 FJ40. I have 5 of them, 4 have about 3200 miles on them, the other is the spare and never seen the pavement. They look great and perform great off road, I just am on road most of the time and think I would prefer a quieter highway...
Has anyone used the Jacobs Ignition Off-Road Energy Pack on a V8? I currently have a Mallory set up but think it's geared more for High RPM HP rather than low end grunt. Plus I like the Mileage Master also being built into the unit. Not sure how much that will help either...
I've had this Cruiser for a few months now and thought I might want to change out the trans fluid. It drives smooth, is hard to shift from 2nd to 3rd, but other than that drives great, not a lot of noise. The guy I bought it from said it was an SM420, but the plate on it says Condec Condiesel...

I'm currently running a 750CFM Eddlebrock carb on a Chevy sb 350, think it's a ZZ4. I was tossing around the idea of swapping to EFI or throttle body fuel injection. Which is better? Also, I don't totally get the differentce between the two, except it looks like the throttle body has no fuel...
I have a ZZ4 in my 72 Cruiser, it has the old 3 belt setup but they tend to squeel sometimes. Is there any advantage to going to a serpantine system vs not going to one? Has anyone done this? Or should I just get all new belts and ditch the idea?
My neighbor restores cars for a hobby and he picked up an all original 1962 FJ40 that was being used as a farm truck. Everthing on it is original, not a lot of rust, has the original PTO winch still on it etc. He wants to fix it up and sell it for a profit. He's seen my super modified one so...
