2010 LX570 I’m stumped. Looked for the corresponding connector under the bumper and no joy. Can anyone assist? Referring to the rectangular plug in the photo of course. I have a RLC rear bumper fwiw.
Thanks for the photo. Mine is like yours (under the plastic panel). Hope it’s straight forward to remove one panel. I assume only one panel? Access via opening tailgate? I always have bad luck with plastic panels.
They didn’t say where the leak was coming from. . When I asked them if they could just fix the leak they said Toyota recommends a total replacement, they don’t fix leaks . It would cost 5k to replace everything. So I don’t know what to do. The local 4x4 shop doesn’t want to touch it. They want...
I would like to bounce something off of you guys. If my 570 lost most of the hydraulic fluid from a leak, (that’s what Toyota says) and I want to get my vehicle up from the lowest setting to a more drivable setting, could I fill up the reservoir and will the vehicle stay up or eventually drop...
What is the name of the fluid and where is the reservoir? Can I buy the fluid at an auto parts store. I want start from there. I have the dashboard warning to check 4 wheel AHC system. Truck is in the lowest setting and won’t move up from there. No codes come up On a cheap OBD Reader. Thanks!
The tank is still enroute but should be there next week. I wouldn’t trust anyone else for this other than Chitown4x4. Great customer service, fair pricing, expert mechanics, good communication. No complaints here. I will probably have my Fj62 done too.
I have been to AK before and done Denali NP via railroad and car. Just short on time for this trip since I gotta drive back home. I’m coming into Fairbanks via Rt 2. Upon driving’s back I can take Taylor if it’s worth it. We decided to begin our roadtrip in Fairbanks and have them fly home from...
Just realized I can fly them up to Prudhoe Bay and just endure one way to Fairbanks. From Fairbanks, I’ll do the Top of the world and drive home. It’s coming together thanks to everyone who contributed!
Thanks so much. You don’t understand how helpful your post was. Great detail! She doesn’t sleep. Major insomnia. It’s not her back that keeps her awake either. I’m flying her and our son to Fairbanks while I drive the rig from Chicago to Fairbanks. So the true test is the 8 hrs of driving a...
In regard to the Dalton Highway, am I hearing this correctly, that it is now mostly paved? How many percent paved like 80% of the route? That said, is it extraordinarily bumpy or is it jarring? I’m asking because a family member has a bad back. The LX550 absorbs a lot with its suspension but I...
I know this is 18 months old but I was wondering if any of you went on your road trip. I’m planning on it very soon. Any updated info on the road conditions and lodging would be great on the Dalton as well as the Canadian and Dawson highway. I was planning on Deadhorse as a destination but...
I took the plunge and will have Chitown4x4 install a 40 gal on my LX in the next few weeks. Ward Harris at LRA and Rick and Joe at Chitown4x4 have been great to work with.
