Wanted  Toyota motor parts in Houston-compressor project

hi y'all, im ramping up to design and build a new and unique water well drilling system. I feel a huge call to this mission, and will need some help! One big component is an air compressor that can do much more than standard off the shelf units. I am going to convert a motor into a compressor...

Help me plan/plan for a cross country trip. Want to grab a beer and/or wheel?

Wow! sounds like an amazing trip, I know I want to do something like this eventually. If you are near longview, tx (longview tx - Google Maps) come hit us up! We have a few cruiser/toyota guys here at my school and between all of the stuff we have, we could literally replace everything on...

    Front brake 95 4runner calipers on 85 FJ60

It's simple volume mathematics. The line pressure will be X based on how hard you push, this is determined by everything from the pedal length (a longer pedal off of the axis of rotation will push harder), the valving size in the master cylinder, brake booster, etc. That X will multiply by the...

Getting Ready for swaping some parts

I run 36" TSL's with the stock pump/box and have had issues with my pump going in and out. But this is a problem that has been around since I've had the truck. When the PS is working correctly I can turn the tires fine. Of course once youre up against a rock things change... 33" are fine with...

Well thank you for the critique Mace, i love reading anything you post on this forum. and believe me, all of those issues will be addressed soon, this is very much an ongoing project. Another 60 SOA

well its the way you do it to reuse the square front ubolts that you have. but i will get new semi-circular bolts to replace those and cut off the bottom spring perch. Im sorry you wouldnt want to drive near my awesome truck on the road because you think my steering might explode or something...

    Another 60 SOA

Well i would love to say i KNOW that i did the crossmember cut correctly but i havent had the front axle fully drooped with my DC shaft in yet, so i can only assume based on what others have shown me. but i do understand what you mean, mine is straight up and down as opposed to angled backwards...

    Another 60 SOA

thanks! i do agree, when you look at the geometry the shocks arent being effectively stroked. but as in all things, you work to a certain degree, i know it isnt the BEST but it will work relative to how much work i wanted to put into it. and those are new spring perches, maybe youre confused...
