I've heard of guys pulling the rotor from the dizzy and putting the dizzy cap back on. Keeps someone from driving it away at least. And on the chance they have an extra rotor in their pocket... oh snap.
Long jump seats were stock for 66's and a previous owner put the front row bench seats from a 71 or 72 (solid passenger seat with a folding center seat) into my 66 and it looks like they just installed without any mods. So I'd say that a driver seat would fit with very minimal if any issues.
My 66 has a Smitty brand roll bar I think (slanted bar above the jump seat back) and short jumps seats. Someone long ago switched out the original long jump seats for a short ones and an aftermarket roll bar. Wish I still had the long ones. But the roll bar (or "light bar" as labeled by the...

I put a new steel OEM tank in my 66 about a year and a half ago. It was actually a tank for a 68 but it fits fine. I ordered it from Cruiser Dan.
From reading here on Mud, the consensus was that it was the best way to go (quality-wise) when replacing a tank. Financially it was the best option...
Many dash's had a hand throttle, choke pull, cowl vent pull and headlight switch in some configuration all located to the left of the FD pull. There's a fifth spot to the left of the FD knob that seems to vary by Cruiser.
I've seen those 5 mixed around, not sure which configuration was the...
