Covid has interrupted things including my upholsterer. But he is back to work and I just need to finish the headliner modifications including some minicell foam
Looks like Hillbilly Alcantara. I ordered a custom headliner with a material that has custom perforations. This is going to finish...
Question about interpreting conflicts in FJ62 FSM: Here is what the rear wiper PIN numbers are suppose to be and also the instructions to test said relay. However, I am confused (it happens to often sometimes) about where to place what jumpers as there looks to be a conflict with the FSM jumper...
Plastic weavy stuff is from Chiliwhich (manufacturer of place mats/table runners } I saw it when my wife bought them and thought it was a great material then saw it used in the Icon FJ62 interior. Upholster complained about how stiff it is.
Foamy Stuff is Minicell foam- great stuff. Kayakers...
Thanks for the note. As I posted this I got no real traffic - i guess this conversion isn’t that likely for a lot of folks, but its a real brain teaser that it needed to be recorded. Getting these in here is what makes MUD a great resource

Need to attach the rear side and glue and shape some micro-cell foam to shape things up before getting the headliner done
The ‘62 dash was a great addition. I tried to upgrade the 60 capabilities to the 62 functionality as much as possible like converting the 60’s rear wiper into a 62 intermittent wiper ( its always been a little peeve of mine that the 60 rear wiper was “all on” or “all off”). The clock is...
I think this is a common problem and I understand that one can loosen the linkage and replace the somewhat easily without removing much of any thing else. Anyone can tell me how to loosen the shifter linkage to get the linkage clear of the shaft and get the old seal out and new one in without...
I like the idea of creating a drawing file and 3D printing a set. This would allow a high degree of customization for things like sliders and fender flares and solve a lot of rust issues. Another question has anyone built fender liners? A set all around would really help with rust
