    Multiple batteries?

You are better off to use a bus solenoid, the isolator will not hold up.

    Orion Status

Better to wait, and have it work. Then to install 1 or, "8" and have to pull it out. Or worse, try to explain to customers why you installed it before it was fully tested. Only to send it back.

For strictly on road, how would you build a 40?

So !!! what is a stock lift??????? For give me but I have never heard of one. The best tranny for H-way is a NV4500 w/27% O/D. If you want a daily driver for that amount of miles buy a hybrid, and help save the planet of it's fossel fules for our 350,s. Raise it???????? why ???? the lower the...

Question for anyone who has done a V8 conversion

I would suggest using a NV4500 with a 6.34:1 first gear, if you can find it. This also has a 27% fifth that works great on the highway. AA can help with the adapters.

    rear Brakes not releasing

Make sure you do not have a pinched or dented line by the drum, it would be odd to have this on both sides but stranger things have happened.

    Hard Top Insulation

I use the blue closed cell sleeping pads you can get from Walmart, then put glue down carpet you can get from Home Depot. Put it on with contact cement (you will need to buy a gallon). Mine has been there for 10 years and not a problem yet.

In need of a new headliner!

On my 40 I used the 1/2" closed cell camping pads you can buy from Walmart, then installed some glue down carpet you can get from Home Depot over the foam. Used contact cement, it has been up there for 5 years without any problems. This setup keeps it cool in the summer and warm in the winter...

    Lock Right in Front?

I have the lock rite in the front and a power trax at the rear, it works fine. Although don't plan on turing figure 8's in the rocks unless you have a good p/s setup. I had the lock rite in the rear but keep breaking shear pins.

    Broken Toy Tcase

I cracked in half the second Toyota LC Tcase the other day I had in my 76 FJ40. Im running a 350 with a NV4500, locked at both ends, with 35's. The last one had a Tcase saver on it that I got from Over The Hill 4X4. I think the Atlas might be the right way to go, but hate to deal with a centered...
