    1994 Land Cruiser for Sale

I need to part with my 1994 LC with 153K miles. Has center diff lock switch, no front/rear lockers. Daily driver. Bone stock, all factory options. Everything works. Runs great. Only wear showing is the leather on the drivers side seat, all others including 3rd row are perfect. Cold AC...

    Code 71

Well Robert I took your advise and checked for clogged vaccum lines, and it turned out to be a disconnected vaccume line. It was below the throttle body, just above the transmission dipstick. No idea how it was disconnected, but that was all it was. I did order a FSM from C-Dan, will use it...

    Code 71

Thanks so much for the information Robert. I'll check that out tonight. Certainly has me baffled as the enigne still runs as smooth as ever. Thanks again, Greg

    Code 71

My 94 LC with 118K miles is giving me an error code 71. The engine runs as smooth as ever, I reset the code once and ran it for 100 miles or so and it came back. Code book lists the error as possible bad EGR temp sensor or EGR valve. I had throttle body service 5K miles ago. I hate to...

    Center Diff Noise

I have learned so much from this site, but it simply amazes me the number of people that chime in with these stupid Darwin awards. The man went out of his way to post accurate information, simply looking for help, then poof, the stupid Darwin Award quote. I also visit the Yamaha Venture tech...

    Sunroof Drain Fitting?

I too chased a wet passenger floorboard thinking it was the sunroof drains. Drove me crazy. Mine turned out to be a leaking front windshield gasket. If it’s raining where you are at it will be very easy to check. While sitting in the passenger seat look in the lower right-hand corner of the...

    Vibration

I've noticed an intermittent vibration in the front end (left side) when on the highway, only after a right turn. It goes away after 25 mph or so. I've never heard it after a left turn, and it only occurs intermittently, maybe every third turn or so. I checked the front diff oil, it was a...

    Center Diff possible problem

Problem solved. It was the indicator switch. I removed it, cleaned it, activated it manually sevaral times, reinstalled it and now it works perfectly. Internal contacts were probably bad due to lack of use. If it goes out again I'll replace it. Thanks for all the advice.

    Center Diff possible problem

Thanks Rick. Based on what I read on Sleeoffroad (thanks for the link!) I think you are right. I'll test the switch later today.

    Center Diff possible problem

Thanks to all for the tips (except the Funniest Home Video crack, of course I'm not under the vehicle with the wheels turning, jeez!). The ABS light comes on and goes off at startup, and I tried another idea, put two large floor jacks under rear wheels, lifted both back tires off the ground 1...

    Center Diff possible problem

I purchased a cherry 94 LCC last week with 98k miles. It has the standard center diff lock but no front and rear lock. Probably never been off road. When I put it in 4L nether the center diff light nor the ABS light come on. To test it, I put it on 4 jack stands, and when in 4H the front...
