Regardless of how prepared we are and how carefully we try to avoid getting stuck or caught in a very precarious situation the inevitable happens. It's not a question of if it will happen, but a question of when.
Most of us who wheel a lot have a winch and at a minimum a hi-lift jack to assist...
My 2007 developed cracks in the front fenders at 58,000 miles. I traded it with 107,000 miles and the cracks had not grown significantly...
I haven't heard of any newer ones having the problem.

Welcome aboard!!!
Given my style of driving that is mostly expedition travel, I went with the ARB on my 2007 FJ and since I traded it for a 2013 I put an ARB bumper on it as well. I have the All-Pro APEX for my rear bumper.
To me, this is the best combination... :)

Excellent build up! I'm starting to build the struts to raise my RTT soon. I have an aluminum lid on the trailer so I'll have to extend my uprights a bit away from the tub.

Excellent! I've been using mine with the RTT mounted on the aluminum lid. I'm now in the process of raising it much like you did! Great job!

Excellent looking build! Keep up the good work!
The M614 is the manufactures part number. How the trailer was identified to the civilian community who built the trailers is different than the military identification. The M416 is the military designation of it. :)

Tom,
Super build! Having followed you through the Maze District of Canyonlands National Park I can say that the M416 is extremely capable as an off-road companion to your super FJ!

Howdy,
Welcome to MUD. I'm a newbie here also but a veteran on other FJ forums. MUD is a super forum!
Congrats on your FJ. The more you drive it the more you'll love it!
