Forward/reverse, front/rear output split case PTO

Is there such a thing as a PTO box that does forward/reverse direction selection with both front and rear shaft outputs that suits the split case transfer?

    4.0:1 Split Case Gears

Its a bit of a juggle to find the right combination I think.. I have 4.88 diff gears, and with 4:1 transfer gears with the 10% underdrive, I'll be something like 25% underdriven. I run 35" wheels at the moment, and that makes me about 10% slow on the speedo.. The 4.88s are for my 40, so when...

    4.0:1 Split Case Gears

Thanks Georg.. I had a suspicion the gears from the various sellers were made in the same factory. I do run the 4:1 Orion in my 40, and more than happy with that as far as noise is concerned.

    4.0:1 Split Case Gears

I'd be interested in pics.. However, I think using the milling machine will make easy work of it, just set up a fly cutter to slightly larger than the diameter of the gear and plunge it in to the correct depth.. It will take out what it needs, no more, no less, and eliminates the trail and error..

    4.0:1 Split Case Gears

I have a Bridgeport clone to machine the case with, this takes the guesswork out of it. Should be ok with that method..

    4.0:1 Split Case Gears

I can get AA or Sumo gears out of the US cheaper than I can Marks locally here in Aus. I figure if I'm going to be spending money and time on it, I want the best reduction available. So you say AA gears are quieter than Marks? Still no opinion on Sumo?

    4.0:1 Split Case Gears

So its about likes now? If you read the original post you'll see that I have been inactive for a long time, and pretty sure the original forum software that was in use before I went inactive didn't do likes. If I wanted likes, I'd go elsewhere.. I didn't ask where to shop, I asked which gears...

    4.0:1 Split Case Gears

Not sure why.. Im on the other side of the world. If hes not interested in quoting freight, he cant be too interested in the sale. I see no other advantage. In the time I've waited for a price, I could have already had the parts delivered from another seller. This, however, is not the question...

    4.0:1 Split Case Gears

Hi All, Returning after a long time inactive. I have a FJ62 in Australia. I'm in the market for some 4.0:1 gears to suit the 38mm split case. I see there are two options, the AA gears and Cruiser Outfitters Sumo gears, both for similar money. Which is the better of the two, and why?

    split case 4:1 gear sets!!!!!

Does this gear set work with the PTO output?

    Locker swap

I get the ring gears off with the soft faced dead blow hammer. I have been known to heat the gear in the oven to get them back on. If I have the wood heater going in the shed I just sit the gear on top of it and rotate it occasionally to warm thoroughly. Enough so that it feels hot to touch...

    FJ40 Rear Disconnect

Okay. I might have to have a look to see if the Trail Tough one could be adapted. It uses the same spline as the pinion, but putting it there would be less than ideal for various reasons..

    FJ40 Rear Disconnect

Hi All, What solutions are available for rear drive shaft disconnects for FJ40/Orion transfer cases?
