O2 Sensor bypass question…
So, to put rock sliders on my 96 LX450 (35s/529 gears) I had to cut out the cats and replace it w a straight pipe. The rear part of the pipe w the downstream O2 sensor was also cut out. So, there is no rear sensor just an empty plug. Obviously the check engine light is...
Have a Coastal Offroad bumper that isn’t fitting on my 96 LX450 bec the AC Air Drier is in the way. Any suggestions on how to relocate it? Or, get around it? I don’t want it exposed under the bumper where it can be damaged.
See picture below…
PS Be cautious buying Coastal Offroad items...
Going cheap with this build. Just picked it up a few weeks ago and have about 16k on top of 13k price tag. So don’t need anything fancy at this point. But it a nice addition. Plus this build is really for my son and brother to use. I prefer driving my Tacoma
Inside is good. I removed the 3rd row and going to add a barrier w shelf. Also raptor line it. Then wood floor for mounting of my fridge as well as other thing
I believe it’s leaning bec of the panhards. They are adjustable but I ordered a lift plate to level the panhard out. i believe it wasn’t completely lifted correctly .
didn’t extend 3 of 7 break lines or add caster plates. Just lifted it 4.5 inches. Suspension lift
Do you monitor anything else
I’m not towing anything. But will have 37s or 40s on it eventually. (Currently has 35s). And I’m gearing down to 529 which I already have and needs to be installed. I will be using it for overlanding. So it will be weighed down a bit.
Did my LX450 roof. Removed the factory rack. Filled the screw holes w seal maker. Sanded the roof. Added primer. Then raptor lined it. Came out good. Doing my cargo bay next
I only found out about LCs a few weeks ago. And, I picked up a 96 LX450. I was told that I should keep track of my trans temperature. What are you using to measure your trans temperature? And, what else are you keeping an eye on?
I purchased the scan gauge and wasn’t sure if this was the best...
Hi
I’m looking to build a shelf for the back of my FZJ80. Does anyone have the blueprints or plans for a shelf build? Pretty much just a simple board across the cargo area from second row seats to opening. And, from side to side.
I also have in order a cargo barrier w shelf and divider.
Thanks for the add. I just got into off-roading last year after building my 21 Tacoma. I’m currently in the market for a new build with a FZJ80. Plan is to put 37s at minimum or 40s. Looked at 5 or 6 in the Central FL area. Looking at 3 more this week. Hopefully, find one I like. I’m here for...
