Yep it was changed somewhere along the way. Just got it running and charging 13.6 volts. It was the missing insulator that caused the 100 amp fusible link to blow out. Thanks everyone for your help!

What would be damaged if I where to wire a new plug up on my alternator wrong and then try start my hj61 12ht?.
Vehicle will now not start but all fuses appear to be OK in the fuse box. I did not smell anything burn. There was a decent spark when I hooked the battery up at the negative terminal
