I run stock sized Falken wildpeaks on blackline rims. This guy runs close to stock tires (275/65R18) so if your not doing more than this, go stock and don't worry:
So the resivoir never stopped loosing coolant and after a road trip I found coolant in the engine bay. Lexus replaced some hoses and the radiator under warranty. I hope I'm good now.
The one nearest to the engine. Fill the resivoir to the F mark when the engine is cold and keep an eye on it. Mine is repaired and I just drove 5 hours straight with no issues. The dealers say a lot but my our 2018 rav4 coolant resevoir was empty and my GX460 zerks had black paint on them which...
So they said it was both the water pump and the thermostat that was leaking. I didn't argue because they said it was covered under warranty. The loaner car was a 2022 GX so a pretty good outcome.
I got the front spline to take grease. The zerk has to be dead left or right to get on properly with a lock n lube bit. Be safe and also look for crusty pink antifreeze residue under there near the engine. Indicates a potential coolant valley leak..
Just did my first time. It's hard to believe you have to go through all that for an oil change. It doesn't feel like 2022 at all. The front spline zerk would not take grease. I heard you can take a small torch to it but it was also not pointing the right way. I guess I need to drive it and go...
I'm surprised there's not a sticky on this issue. I'm hoping Falken Wildpeaks at3 265/65/r18 will fit with the factory hitch. I just scored some r18 Blackline wheels.
A sticky with charts with different wheel radii, Generation of vehicle. inflated or deflated spare, type of hitch, exact brand...
