Didn't know you were still around! I read your initial thread and it sounded like they were the same, but the sequoia case can be bolted in without modification (not ideal spline engagement though) so I wanted to make sure.
My truck is a 2019 so the swapping of the 4wd control won't work :( I...
I'm working on swapping the LC200 case into my tundra. This has been done before but with limited details. I'd be very appreciative if someone can measure the distance from the transmisson mounting face to the front and rear driveshaft flange mounting faces. I've been unable to get access to a...
Thanks for the input guys. I haven't been able to meet up with this guy yet but should be able to early next week. I checked out another one in the area that was "rust free" it was far from it.
I was hoping "rust free" meant it but it seems that is likely not the case. RHD I wouldn't prefer...
1977 Black Toyoto FJ Land Cruiser
I'm not very knowledgable about 40's, what are some things to look out for on one such as this?
It's a RHD, issues finding parts due to this?
Issues titleing?
Any 40 specific items to check for that could bite me down the road?
I am working out the plans for my shower system (only way the fiancee will go camping).
I have read through quite a few installs, but this is the only one that said where the coolant lines were hooked up (cars heater lines). Are all shower systems like that, or do some pull coolant going to the...
This is on a 91. Anyone know where I can find that little drive piece-it comes out when you separate the rear housing and the main housing, has a t-shape drive on one side and is about 1.25" long. Any clues where I can get one of these or a toyota part no.?
So I decided to try it as it seems like that waswhat it was for. Well I thought I was good when grease(maybe just greasy water or someting) squeezed out pastthe splines.....well the clunk was still there after driving to work and back..so when i parked on my driveway and unscrewed the nipple...
and all cylinders were 150-160 psi :)
Its a 91, with 177k miles. Needless to say I was pretty pleased....however I also noticed it had started leaking coolant from the lower radiator conection....and I heard a bearing screeching on and off. RRRRRR
On a 91, 3fe. There are 3 lines comming out of the airbox (right near the MAF). These 3 lines are right next to each other, one is about 1/2" and the other two are 1/4" anyone know where the middle one goes? The nipples they connect to are all kinda pointing towards the right rear of the truck.
Okay, well I have the entire interior stripped out. Removed all that padding material (I bet this is the larest partof the smell) I used a diluted bleach spray for the carpets, then sent them trough the washer and dryer. Seems like the smell is gone.
For the seats, the bleach made me nervous...
Thanks for the suggestions.
Nope, not a katrina truck, wierd but everthing indicates the drivers side window was down in the rain and it sat like that for a few months+
The mold isn't bad, just smells. I already removed all the seats and carpeting.
Regarding the vinegar, it doesn't...
Burgandyish 91 w/177k on it.
Not in the best shape, has some dents, and looks like it was sitting for a while with the drivers window down and it got moldy so it smells now. Drives great though and basically no rust.
I've pulled out all the seats, carpets, and that foam like stuff that was...
