ROOF TOP TENT SET UP FOR 1984 FJ60

I put a Roof nest on top of my Chevy. Seems to be pretty good quality material, and built well. Takes 30 seconds to pop it up, about 2 mins to take it down. I keep all my pillows and bedding in it while collapsed and no leaks yet. I went with the largest one they had because of the head room...

Little more interior progress. I really like the door panels. I insulated them too. The headliner and x mat came out pretty good.

Thanks, Us cargo control made it for me. I just gave them my dimensions. It was cheaper to install this than the OME headliner and it's functionable now. I'm working on putting in some Xmat heat/sound deadener, then I'll just store blankets and cold gear up in it.

A little more progress. Very satisfying to get the exterior and doors back together.

After over a 100 man hours, I finally got the rusted piggy primed inside and out and raptor lined. I severely underestimated the amount of work this was. Looking forward to other projects not involving a welder, grinder, and sheet metal.

More progress, getting it ready for primer. Few more spots need attention.

well, I’ve underestimated the amount of work that needed to go into this rust removal process. But it’s been rewarding to see the cancer coming out one piece at a time.

That is exactly what I wanted to here. The sniper is sitting in my cart waiting to place order. Looks like it's going to escalate to the front of the list. Thanks

Copy that. Already making needed repairs. Weld in new metal, paint it or raptor line it, new tires and new interior and fuel injection and head for the hills.,

I bought this truck..... I was convinced by a good friend that this truck was my future baby. I totally agree, I love working on it, I love its simplicity. I love things that just work. I’m a fj lover now. I’m not looking into throwing money into something to make it better that is already...

I'm under the impression that the stock distributor has to go because it has points and TBI units will need a distributor and an ECU that can control the advanced timing? I haven't dug deep into this yet but I will certainly look into the Holley Sniper. Thanks Again Mr. Puppies

Well, I got the chance to adjust the valves, Everyone of them were out of tolerance. All the gaps were to small. Did a compression test after the adjustment and #4 came back up in family with the rest. #1= 128psi #2- 125psi #3=130psi #4=120 psi #5=123psi and #6 =125psi. I can assume #4 was so...
