Anyone know where to get these seldom seen black rubber hinge protectors? Yes, I also posted a wanted ad. They may have been in the archives of this thread. I am not content with the newer plastic ones. Looking for 4 of them...I know I could probably make something similar out of rubber but I'm...
Don't have a part number for this smaller rubber tool bag band assembly for under the front seat of earlier 40 series.
Missed out on this product from excellent vendor Vintage TEQ Parts - my bad, Matt. Two hooks for attachment required. Photos borrowed from Vintage TEQ Parts.
Okay folks - listen up!

Looks like a good set-up. Is that also a Ham radio (Cobra) - can't tell and I am a bit technologically challenged. All I have to do is ensure everything will accommodate the 24-volt system so I have a converter and the sound has to override my diesel engine @ 110 km/hour :) Thanks for this...
Wow. That is a large unit. Wonder what I would have to do to mount it inside a hard top. Because I am a bit obsessive compulsive about NOT modifying my rig in any invasive way, can't a good small BOSE speaker be found that would connect to a bluetooth stereo or iphone? Surely it could be secured...
Attempting to resurrect this thread started in 2010...and just fishing for any updates on the best sound system set-ups for Land Cruisers since this thread started years ago...does anyone want to offer thoughts on wakeboard speakers or the use of bluetooth technology or some other wireless...
Matt just happened to have in stock two ambulance door keys matching my original key code for a 1984 BJ42 LV from Europe.
What are the chances???
Thanks Matt - they fit perfectly.
Land Cruiser gods exist...
I'll try again - yes the rear heater (console) runs off high speed/front blower like you said. But do you think the switch in the console also be installed as another option (if compatible with 24 volts)?
Amazing - Well I want the 6342 ambulance keys so how do I order them? And by chance I guess there is not a diesel ignition key to match? Or an extra blank one with the red Toyota lanyard for purchase too?
My 1984 BJ42-LV is a Euro model (24 volts completely unlike the Canadian model) and it has the black "delete plug" in the center console beside the console ashtray. Was there a rear heater blower switch made for this model which is not an LX? Looking for a part number and looking to purchase...
Were there different keys for the 1984 BJ42 Euro and Canadian models? In the owners manual that came with my Euro model the diesel key pictured has a slightly different silver top shape. Interested to know what the original master key part numbers are (silver and black plastic top) and if you...
