Any thoughts on using this as a sample to make a kit for sale? I’m sure there are many, myself included that would buy the complete kit if closer to 5k. I bet with some reverse engineering, and 3D scanning the parts it could be accomplished for 12-15k. Make 10-20 kits and you’d be off to the...

Does anyone have a diagram of this option? i didn't see in the parts catalog. does the original usa spec part below with red arrow, work for the nozzle connection? it appears to have that notch like in the images you provided above @Pierce
Hi @kilmarkid any luck solving this? Mine is doing same thing, heat won’t come out hotter than 95 degrees, about 20-25 short of hot and blowing not very strong compared to cold air setting. What was your fix? I’m wondering if it’s the way the auto control system changes flow to different...
Heater not blowing hot: Do any of you have experience to know if the heater core was accessible for cleaning only, when the glove box is removed? i saw a youtube video and the guy used a special type of vacuum that was very thin to get in there. Wondering if my heater fins are clogged, air is...
Have any of you found the m12-1.25 or m10-1.25 here in the states @ToyotaMatt ? Hard to find rivet nuts or rivnuts here but i would imagine they are readily available in Japan or where jis hardware is sold . If any of you bought a box and have extra or know where to go I’d be happy to buy them...
@BILT4ME On a side note, where did you find a pdf of the service manual?? I lug the paper Grainger sized one around. I’m still looking for fog lights for vent holes,,, hoping an OEM shape exists :)
Did these bulbs you found work on the circuit board for the buttons as well? Or just for the LCD backlight display? I’m looking for both and would prefer to switch to LED, the link to the person who repairs radios above, did not go through seems to be dead.
I’ve had it a year now, it looks correct for the size and shape. Would need to bend the other tubes to match/buy fittings that are correct to bolt components together. I’m debating going stainless will update as I move forward :)
just went through the process for a 1981 fj40 seat track. Ended up drilling one of the rivets, bought replacement rivet for that end, and the track slid right off. Rivet seems to motion limit the roller piece on the inside, which there were 2. They came out fairly easily didn’t require much...
I just completed my switch of the switch, if anybody needs a part that works, I bought them from Digikey. I have a few extra if you need one, or just buy direct from them.
