Ya I lucked out, nice to buy from people you know for something like cars (well for the most part) and whether you know them or not I won't be complaining if they attractive as well :D - she posted the vehicle on social media in one of those stories that disappears after 24 hrs - instagram. I...
Pulled out this fuel filter(po had it done at carquest 2013, ~70k miles on it) real pita. Rear mount bolt was brutal - finally got at it a little bit at a time from the front side with bolt extractor socket.
Amazing how fast the car starts now, engine doesn't turn over as much and...
Removed fuel filter, everything was pretty easy except for this bolt - ended up being a real PITA this is the rear mounting bolt (id say it was worse than the PHH for me). Took quite awhile to get it - underneath with a 30 inch extension and universal was no good to bite on the bolt with the...

Power steering pump has been leaking for quite some time, small drip right off the pump- not really losing much fluid, but I do see the drops on the ground from time to time, the level always seems fine when I check - I've only had to refill once over the last 6 months. Transmission fluid level...
I remember seeing a rubber piece in some video for that opening, does it need to be covered? If so does anyone have a part number?
Also does anyone have an idea where that transmission fluid could be leaking from?
Thanks!
Ahhhh that is good news and bad news.. I was originally thinking of keeping it to help disperse engine heat and maybe come in handy in cold winter days, hmm this sound like a real PITA like you said
I am having a tough time matching up brake lines (edit: this was not the brake system, it's rear heater lines) with part numbers..I see some rusted hard lines under passenger side connected to some soft lines...I figured I would replace the hard lines + the soft lines and clamps and then looks...
Thanks everyone-waiting until Thursday for some long picks, long hemostat, crevasse vacuum attachment, and coat hangar if those fail. Will see what works and and update soon, in the meantime trying to figure out my soft brake line leak 🤣.
Awesome, I will give this a try..I think I pushed the rubber down or something when I used a non spark plug socket, but I still see some of the rubber so should be able to get at it. Have compressed air so should be able to shoot it out if I can't pull it out. Hoping there's not more issues...
I did not notice anything missing, I might have thrown away the old wires so I can't gaurentee some of the boot didn't tear off. So this might be part of that boot and not some rubber grommet part of the insert then.
Ordered some 12 inch hemostats and some picks..so once that grommet is out if I can get it out, does the plug come with it? Or can I then use a socket?
