I just registered - had no idea what run to sign up for. Wanted to do a camp one, but looks like I made a mistake (signed up for Solid Axle Run?). Any recommendations for trails? 95 3x locked FJZ80, 3" lift, armored.
Yodateq - same co who made the tailgate latch mounts too. A-pillars are a bitch to run wiring through, but I have bright fronts, ditch lights, and KC Cyclones below as puddle lights which turn on when I unlock the car (aftermarket keyless entry) which has been awesome...
Will message you. I hear good things about RPM, wish I had tried them first. Just further away. I am now doing all of my own work in house as I have a hot rod shop.. just a small learning curve.
Seems a little high. Which shop? I had mine done by a local well known shop in OC and I will never go back there again. Found mismatch bearings and grease (one side had red, one side moly), hammered on bearing cage, soupy front diff, amongst other problems (done about a year ago). I just did a...
I agree on the stupidity of unnecessarily limiting up travel. I am not running big tires (yet, I plan to go to a 35-ish soon) so its a waste for the rear for me right now, and am going to try to run without bump extensions there and see if I get rubbing. If all good, then the up travel sizing is...
Hi all - I have had this kit for a few years, and generally speaking, it has been great. One issue is caster bushings are insufficient, and need plates (have to install still) but I have been very happy with performance. Seems to flex nicely.
This week I added sway bar disconnect and LSPV...
Braptor is ugly AF. rarely will the upgrades be worth it in real world vs standard Bronco. Get a regular /sasquatch Bronco, save the cash for real upgrades/steering rack. Real world use, and not dedicated off-roader, the LC will surpass Bronco in most every category, and come close in a few...
Most dealers don't have old school techs that can trouble shoot and diagnose. they just R&R whole parts/systems. that's it. Can try Hiro's in Costa Mesa. Not a cruiser shop, but some go there. Japanese specialist.
Everyone in desert racing went from BFG 39x13.5s to 40x12.5s and the improvements in all aspects of handling were dramatic. Tires lost 5lbs too. I have raced on both. Granted, we aren’t rock crawling (often) and we run 25-35 psi.. and we don’t keep tires for more than 150-250 miles 😂. But it...
I would get a local delco AGM as suggested. I did an Oreilly AGM platinum start batt and an Oreilly AGM deep cycle. Same chemistry between the two will have best results. Charging voltage is the same (higher w AGM)
