    Exact same thing, I checked torque on valve cover bolts and they were all very loose. Like, a couple I could've taken out by hand. Retorqued and that fixed the leak. Careful not to overtorque

    You will see changes in running temp in your trans with things like bigger tires and regearing, but as long as you are staying under 200F then its really not a concern. Its around 220F that varnishing starts to occur.
