Thanks for all the great suggestions! The Slee and Dissent options both look awesome. Taking a deeper look at both and will hopefully get an order placed soon. Pics to follow (eventually...)
I've searched through all the threads and haven't come across anyone in the same situation so I figured I'd reach out and see if anyone had any suggestions.
Over the last year, I've accumulated enough damage on the stock rear bumper on my 2016 that it's now time to address it. It's a mix of...
That's amazing! Looks like a really great solution.
FWIW, we did end up removing the rear seats and installing 1 locking ARB drawer on the driver side for valuables. I'm happy to report that after a 9 week drive across the US we had 0 problems.
Loved watching all the videos from Cruise Moab! Super inspiring to see 200's take on Wipeout Hill and Hell's Revenge (with some expert spotting!) The timing of our family's cross country move led me here to Moab the following week and today's our last day. We had a fantastic initial run at Dome...
Thanks everyone for the great advice! Decided to just go for it today and do Dome Plateau. It was definitely the hardest trail i've done and man was it incredible. Both kids were literally jumping up and down by the caves, listening to their echos and yelling "This was the BEST DAY EVER"...
I just arrived in Moab in the 200 with my family, and will be here for the next week. I'll be working in the mornings but in the afternoons, I'm looking to take the kids (age 4 and 6) on some fun trails. I'm a fairly experienced off-road driver, the truck is lifted 2" on Bilstein 6112/5160...
I'm doing this trip in reverse! We're in Springdale (right outside of Zion) right now (since Monday). Heading to Moab next, then slowly working my way to Virginia. The cool thing about Zion is that it doesn't close. I brought a mountain bike (there are also tons of rentals in town) and have been...
Took my 74 year old Mom on a little detour yesterday on our way from Page to Zion to see White Pocket. She (or I) had never seen anything like it. I know The Wave get's all the attention, but I can't imagine it being more spectacular then this (and you don't need to try and win the permit...
So stoked about this. Literally just did this drive. I called the NPS line and the recording said it was still closed but I asked a ranger and he let us know that it was in fact now open. Shaved a good 90 minutes off the drive to Page and beautiful scenery along the way.
Now we’ve got two days...
This is amazing, thank you! There are so many gems in the area, it was kind of hard to nail to down which one's to check out. Really excited about Wire Pass slot canyon in particular. Much appreciated!
Start of the Devil's Bridge trailhead in Sedona, AZ. Here for a week as part of a cross country roadtrip with the fami;y- I'd love any tips or suggestions for the area! Next stops are Page,AZ, Zion,UT, and then Moab.
Those big rocks at the entrance are the hardest part! Made it in without incident and the rest of the trail was much more mild, but underside did scrape the rocks slightly on the way back out.
This is awesome, thanks for sharing this! I'm in Sedona for a week and have been debating whether or not take the 200 on it. It would be the most difficult rated trail that I've attempted so far in it. I've got 33" tires and a 2" lift, but no skids or sliders. Did the path to Devil's Arch...
Finally got mine installed yesterday. 3rd perch in front with bilstein rear springs. Loving it so far. Exactly the lift height I was looking for - just a touch more clearance but without making it too difficult for the kids to scamper in. Drives like a dream so far. Best way I can describe is...
I've seen some people have passed through the USB ports on the LX, but the 200 doesn't have them. I feel like in theory it would be possible to make a simple circuit that would pull off the wiring harness and power a USB port, but nobody has done it yet to my knowledge. I just bought a $2 USB...
Yep, that's right. I was thinking that the tablet holder came with the ball attachment but I just double checked my order and confirmed that I did in fact have to order 2 of the mount plates.
Dang, just got notice that my new Bilstein suspension arrives tomorrow. Going to have to sit this one out to do the install. Hope you all have a blast!
Sure thing! Typically I do order RAM stuff right from their website but this time I had ordered through Amazon:
RAM-B-202U: Mount Plate with ball
B-size double socket arm
RAM Tab-Tite Holder for 9" Tablets with Heavy Duty Cases
