    What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

    I agree summer and fall…the look is really growing on me!! Old Poncho (as my wife calls it) saw enough rough PNW winters and now either hibernates inside or snowbirds to AZ with us during winter.

    I toyed with the bimini and bikini tops, but, ultimately settled on the old school top. I’ll give a run down at the end of summer. The only thing so far I don’t like is when I removed the hardtop my drivers side dirt came out of adjustment and that’s a huge pain in the ass to re-adjust.

    Bought this beautiful 2 owner 60 last fall but finally found room and picked it up this week…She was in dire need of a new set of shoes (285/75/16’s) and a new windshield. Next…new exhaust, sound deadening, and a tundra brake conversion.

    Where did you find that shift knob?? Very nice touch!!! I spend most of my time lurking and researching in the 60 series forum. Most of my posting is in the 200 section but like these photos enough to share. Really happy with my new shift knob.

    Yeah we soaked in it…really enjoyable day. The weather was perfect…ice in places along the way in. The rains and most likely snow up that way kept the dust down, and the last 10 miles are a slow-go. Great views and the hot spring made it well worth the effort tho!!

    Help in putting a 4-Speed trans in a 3 Speed frame

    It would probably be best to cut the crossmember out and re-weld it back a few inches after installing the transmission…if you are able to do that or know someone or shop that can do that for you…just my .02 cents.
