    HELP! fj40 window opening dimensions

jbuggy, I can't help with dimensions since the top I have is a 71 but I do know (from experience) that the back lift up door glass is bigger for the late 71 through 74. If I recall it was almost an inch wider than the opening in the 71 door. I think the sides are the same size for all those...

    McGrew Trail Ride

So the family and I are heading down south after the ride. Because we're loaded down with camping stuff for five and then on top of that loaded with another weeks worth of vacation stuff, we've decided to bring two vehicles as far as Grants Pass. We'll leave the minivan with our vacation stuff...

    Saving The Old Rustbucket--My 1982 FJ40 Tale

YES, I've finally caught up! Awesome story Lee! I've got a fishing trip planned to Yellowstone this fall and was planning on taking the 80 over there, but after reading your story, I think the trip might be more fun in the 40. (heck, gas mileage isn't even that different) I'm...

    McGrew Trail Ride

Yup, I've had the disease for years. I'll be using a 12" for the pot pie. That's all I was planning on bringing, but if we're going to make it a DOG, then I'll have to bring the dessert DO as well. I haven't even started to see how everything is going to fit. We're continuing south...

    McGrew Trail Ride

Nope, no secrets. It's one of my favorite meals, one because it is wonderful to eat, but mostly because it means I get to cook outside with a dutch oven. There's something cool about sitting outside, drinking a beer, while cooking. See you all in a few short days!

    McGrew Trail Ride

Finally got registered! I convinced the whole family to come along (:grinpimp::princess::princess::princess::grinpimp:), something I didn't expect to be able to do. So I also had to write a nice check for multiple shirts, I hope I got the sizes all right. I'll be cooking up a big pot of...

    82 FJ40 "small" project

Awesome project! I'm in a similar boat with my doors. Took them apart 8 months ago and it's getting close to time to put them back together. I hope all the pieces are still there. Any update on the cost of the knobs? It looked like a lot of work to do them.
