I’ve been getting a sporadic 1126 code(throttle body clutch) so did a little electrical connection cleaning that some how progressed to a full throttle body removal and cleaning. I’m glad I did because the visible side was fairly clean but the back side was awful. Put it all back together and...
A couple weeks ago my 99 LC(230k) threw a throttle body/magnetic clutch code(P1126?). It ran fine with no issues. I reset the codes to see if they came back on and everything was fine a for about a week. CEL came on and it gave me multiple misfire codes:
P0300
P0301
P0304
P0304 P
The engine...
I stumbled into my 99 LC. My wife was convinced we needed a third row vehicle. After a couple of failed test drives, one of her trying to back an Excursion out of driveway and one of me seeing my reflection in a store window test driving a highlander, I quit looking and hoped her need for a...
Not sure about everyone else but I'd love to see the final fit for all of it. These might be in my near future to protect from the LCs current duty as a kid hauler.
The seat covers themselves look to have a great fit. Hopefully all will be resolved for you. Please post pics of the final fitment once all is corrected. Maybe some more of the dash cover too. I like the idea of pockets up there but not too sure I like the look. Thanks
I’d like to here from anyone that’s done the build kit too. With kit and discount I can get front and rear/w tire holder for under $1700. That seems reasonable for quality front and rear bumpers.
How “qualifed” of a welder would one need to be? I’m a farmer and have many of may welded...
I checked on my in cabin air filters in my 99 LC and like many here nothing was in there. I ordered two from Amazon ($17.95). I used the Toyota PN listed in FAQ section and it came up as an LX470 but same Toyota PN. I'm assuming this will fit in my LC. Anyone know for sure?
That’s what I thought when I first saw pictures of it. I think it’s the side steps and mud flaps that take away from the lifted look. When I park next to my lifted Duramax it’s just as tall. I’ll be getting sliders and bumpers for it down the road but for now those side steps are very helpful...
yes I was very pleased when the PO mod list on his add had almost everything I wanted to do to whatever rig I got. The recent maintenance list was equally pleasing. Suspension, radiator, fan clutch, TB and WP, diffs all done within the last 20k miles. PO seemed to be the kind of guy who...
Yes the PO had some time and $ invested into it. It has a 3” OME lift with 1” wheel spacers to fit those tires under it. I might try a little more trimming to reduce rubbing but I doubt I can eliminate it all without aggressive hacking which I’d rather not do.
That’s what says on the side of the tire. I haven’t done any real wheeling but I did take around our ranch and there’s rubbing while turning under compression. No rubbing under normal conditions.
I’m sure a real trail will reveal how bad it is. I’m wondering how much a 1” body lift would...
