In a 60 I'm wanting functional--pretty not needed. I'm still learning about the 80s.
That $11K 60 is way overpriced...I had actually called about that one before they listed the price. They were wanting $9,000 then and I thought that was too much also.
I'm just going to have to come...
Wow, you guys are good. Thanks for the listings. While WY is just a tad bit further than I'd like to go Stillwater is within reason.
My realistic top price is about $5000.
Thanks
JP
I am open to an 80 series. Initially, I wasn't due to the perceived increase in technological doodads but...after looking at them a bit more they seem pretty similar to a FJ62. 3FE, solid front axle...they also appear to be less prone to rust and have not been offroaded/modified as much...
I'll definitely do my best to be there!
An FJ62 for $1800? Sounds perfect for me...if you could find out some contact info I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thanks guys!

Hi everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm John--and I'm becoming a Cruiser nut. Unfortunatley, I don't currently own one but I am looking around for a nice 60 series.
I do own two MR2s:
Hopefully, I'll get to meet some of you soon!

Amazing help here guys. Thanks a bunch.
I was actually driving around today and had to take a detour because I spotted a FJ60 in the parking lot of an auto shop. It had a mint body but no engine so I'm guessing it was in for a rebuild. It looked great and fueled the fever even more. Plus...
Wow! Thanks for the welcome guys! Both of your posts have been extremely helpful!
I'm actually in Tulsa, which is about 2 hours northeast of Norman.
I'm not too concerned about speed--I expect such a large vehicle to be slow. As for mpg--you can't have everything.
Should I be more...
Hello everyone. I'm an Oklahoman who has caught the Land Cruiser fever. I love the looks and simple mechanics of the 60 series wagon.
Now, I'm new to 4x4s and have become confused while searching and reading through threads here.
The Land Cruiser is legendary for its rugged reliability...
