Not sure what you mean? 5x10 enclosed? I thought it was more about capacity (weight) than type of equipment? Why do you feel that a tractor needs dual axle & brake controller? If it were 1800# of plywood, would that be different?
This is the rabbit hole that concerns me. Where does it...
Thanks!!! Great info. I don't plan on much (if any) highway miles on the trailer. The tractor will be hauled on back roads <40 mph from my house to the properties. Still up in the air on which way to go. First time trailering it will be on Monday and it's already a conflict since my buddy...
Top speed is ~9 mph (ie: engine & drivetrain working at their limit) - That's 45-60 minutes at 6 miles and 1:15 - 1:30 at 12 miles. Not the way I want to put hours on the tractor.
Brosky - thanks for the feedback.
In PA, my understanding is that 2,990 is the weight limit before you would need brakes and an annual inspection sticker. The single axle trailers have 3,500# axles but are tagged at 2,990# for that reason. I'm looking at 14'-16' trailers and the Kubota is 10' with the FEL. I think I'd have...
I recently bought a Kubota B7100 HST with a FEL to do some work at my hunting lease. I’m looking for a trailer to haul it and need some input. The tractor is about 1800# with the FEL. I can get a 14’ single axle, no brakes, and still Ben under the 2,990 GVW. Or I could get a car hauler with...
Camped this passed weekend and did both. I put a 2x4 under the seat latches and also between the folded seats to get them more level with my platform. On Friday, we slept with our heads towards the seats. It made it a little harder to exit at night along with having more weight on the...
That's a great idea! Thanks! I just put that on my long list of things to do. This weekend I'm going to be as little south of where you are were for a wedding in Lancaster.
Had nice weekend camping in the 80. It was about 150 miles each way and my 80 has been more of a local vehicle. Hit the mountains of north central PA with no trouble. Good oil pressure, water temp, and surprisingly 16 mpg. That's amazing considering I get about 11 mpg normally. I welded up...
So, your sleeping pad mainly lays on the box and then lays over the folded seats? I'm putting something together and am having a little design trouble figuring out how my 80" long mattress will work laying freely over the middle seats and headrests? Will you sleep with your head at the tailgate?
Any thoughts on making a thinner block off plate (sheet metal with a gasket on either side) for egr at the manifold??? I bought the 'EGR Test Plug kit' from HuddExpo for my '94 and was thinking of doing this instead of removing everything. Results should be the same as removal???
Sorry -...
Your rack looks great. I have one in process also. (waiting on a couple parts to finish) I see you used alum angle for the side rails, what did you use for the cross rails? Alum square tubing?
You're the one that needs to decide if that price is fair to you and the intended use of the vehicle. I bought my '94 a year ago, with 295k on the odometer, in reasonable shape for a western PA vehicle (read: surface rust on undercarriage and a few spots on the rockers need addressed). Mine...
Luke - I most certainly said it was installed in the initial post along with a few other posts. I also stated that this was my experience that I was sharing.
NLX - I appreciate your perspective. With that in mind, I will assume that you do not list your cell phone # along with “call or text...
LIGHT BAR IS INSTALLED ;). Has been since my initial post. Cody C - thanks for the input. Maybe if Yodateq included your instructions “Install 2 bolts and you’re dome” things would have gone a bunch smoother.
Red, not sure I understand? I posted my experience with the installation and customer service at Yodateq. I appreciate the feedback and suggestions. Again, the light bar and mounts are installed and I was disappointed in the customer service from Yodateq. Also figure that someone else may...
